When you say the word Spirituality, The first thought that comes to the entire world is India. Yet most of us Indians, old or young have no clue about it. Our understanding of spiritual life is restricted to following the religious rituals. In India, due to the lack of knowledge about our own religion, Hinduism today has become a religion of many dont(s) instead of do(s). The dont(s) are mostly about the religious rituals a hindu performs.
Religious Rituals are a wrapper around the core content of Hinduism. The core content is called Philosophy. Philosophy means TRUTH and it is the expression of Nature's laws. We Hindus today have totally sidelined the philosophical section and are totally in love with the ritual sections. This is like falling in love with a chocolate's wrapper and discarding the chocolate in it. Rituals are good starters, but a Human must try to evolve beyond rituals and embark on knowing the unknown. In this set of articles, I will write upon the most commonly misunderstood things on Indian Spirituality.
